Sydney VIP Boat Charters
A few things worth knowing.
Practical answers to help you plan your charter. For anything specific to your group, speak with our team.
How many guests can join?
SEADUCTION welcomes up to 22 charter guests. PROMETHEUS welcomes up to 36. Tell us about suppliers or entertainers attending so the total guest count can be confirmed.
How long is a charter?
The 2026–27 tariff specifies a four-hour minimum unless the operator approves a shorter charter. Two- and three-hour vessel-hire prices are available on the rates page; staffing has a four-hour minimum.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes. Both yachts allow BYO food and drinks with no BYO fee. Required staffing, wharf visits, amenities and the mandatory 2.5% booking fee still apply. Catering is also available.
How is the booking fee calculated?
A mandatory 2.5% booking fee is calculated on the combined vessel hire, required staff, amenities and wharf charges. If the full booking price is paid by cash or bank transfer, a 2% discount is applied to the total including the booking fee.
Where do we board?
Pickup and drop-off are arranged with your charter. Wharf access is $50 per visit. Travel time is charged for locations beyond Drummoyne Ferry Wharf or Rose Bay Ferry Wharf.
Can we go swimming?
Tell us if swimming is part of your plans so the crew can discuss suitable arrangements and conditions. SEADUCTION includes a lily pad; an inflatable pool is an optional $250 extra on either yacht.
What happens in bad weather?
The supplied charter terms say charters proceed in almost all weather conditions. If the captain deems conditions unsafe for the specific charter, a credit is provided. See the charter terms and discuss any weather concerns before booking.
Is an enquiry a booking?
No. An enquiry asks the team to check availability and prepare a quote. This review site uses a test-only form: nothing is sent, saved or booked.
Can children come aboard?
Family days are part of our charter offering. Tell us the ages of children, supervision arrangements and any particular needs before booking.
Can we bring a DJ or other suppliers?
Discuss entertainment, decorations and supplier requirements with us before booking. Suppliers and entertainers may affect guest capacity; confirm the full number of people attending.
What should we wear?
The supplied terms allow only non-black soft-soled shoes and do not allow high heels. Ask the crew if you are unsure about footwear or arrangements for your occasion.
When is payment due?
The supplied terms require full payment 10 days before the charter. A 50% vessel-hire deposit allocates the vessel to the specified time and date; read the full terms before booking.
What if we have mobility or access needs?
Yachts include stairs and level changes. Tell us about any mobility needs or other requirements before booking so suitability can be discussed.
